The project
The Tanami Road is a lengthy and significant route that spans over 1,035 kilometers, linking Alice Springs in the Northern Territory to the Great Northern Highway near Halls Creek in Western Australia. However, it is worth noting that the 313-kilometer section in Western Australia is not sealed, except for a small portion near Sturt Creek.
In order to enhance the transportation infrastructure throughout Western Australia, the Northern Territory, and Queensland, the road formation, existing roadside drainage, and gravel sheeting will undergo a thorough reform process.
MDM Mining & Civil has been entrusted with the task of providing state-of-the-art Rollers, Dozers, and Excavators in order to ensure the successful completion of this important project.
